About the role/school

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Church of England primary school located in Kilburn. The school serves a diverse community of pupils aged 3 to 11 and is committed to upholding its core values of friendship, respect, courage, wisdom, inclusion, and honesty.

In its most recent Ofsted inspection, the school received a 'Good' rating across all areas, highlighting strong leadership, quality teaching, and positive pupil outcomes. The curriculum balances academic achievement with personal development, and there is a strong focus on religious education that reflects the school's Church of England foundation.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential both academically and socially.

Job Responsibilities

As the SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs in the classroom.

Assisting teachers in planning and delivering learning activities tailored to individual pupil needs.

Providing one-to-one or small group support for targeted interventions.

Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress to class teachers and school leadership.

Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

Supporting the school's ethos and values in all interactions with pupils, staff, and parents.

This is an excellent opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children.

Qualifications/Experience

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.

Right to work in the UK.

A minimum of 3 months UK based experience working with children
