Digital Skills Tutor

As a key member of our Adult Skills and Education Service you will do more than teach. You will help ensure the needs of priority groups and areas within the City are understood and fed back into curriculum planning so we offer the skills people really need in ways that meet their needs.

• develop and deliver a range of digital skills, Cyber Security, Data Science and other IT related topics
• coordinate ACL/AEB internal course work assessment
• maintain e‑safety and the quality of teaching and learning online and in the classroom
• use tools such as Google Classroom, Moodle, Teams and Zoom to make a positive difference to our learners

• degree‑level education and a teaching, vocational or professional qualification relevant to FE or adult learning
• proven experience in adult skills, education and apprenticeships
• experience teaching ICT/digital skills courses, both accredited and otherwise
• working knowledge of quality assurance systems, online health and safety and reporting
• flair for working with learners from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
