The Role
An established independent School in Kensington are seeking a Full-Time A Level Chemistry Teacher to join its academic team. You will teach A Level Chemistry to motivated students in small class groups, guiding them to achieve excellent academic results and prepare for progression to top universities.
This role is ideal for an experienced Chemistry teacher or a highly capable Chemistry graduate looking to develop their teaching career in a focused, supportive post-16 environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality A Level Chemistry lessons to post-16 students
* Plan engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with exam specifications
* Track, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes and university progression
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the academic experience of students
The Ideal Candidate
* Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry (degree level or equivalent)
* Previous experience teaching A Level Chemistry is highly desirable
* Confident, organised, and enthusiastic about teaching post-16 students
* Committed to inspiring academic excellence and student success
* Able to work collaboratively within a small, professional teaching team
