Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant

Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school provision in West London
. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

• Have previous experience working with children with SEND (essential)

• Be patient, caring, and committed to supporting individual learning needs

• Have a good understanding of a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

• Be able to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teaching staff

• Be reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons

• Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social development

• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• A supportive school and staff team

• Ongoing professional development opportunities
