Overview
Established in 1991, Newton Prep is a thriving school for children aged 3-13. The School is ambitious for its pupils, who have access to outstanding facilities. There are currently over 570 pupils from Nursery to Year
8. Newton Prep is located in central London's Nine Elms, near Battersea Power Station, with strong transport links and river access.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic technician to provide front line technical and audio-visual support to staff and pupils. Reporting to the Lead ICT Support, this role is suitable for someone seeking an apprenticeship position. Full details of the essential technical knowledge and experience required are included in the attached Candidate Brief. Candidates are not expected to have a full working knowledge of all aspects on day one, as training will be provided where appropriate.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Start date:
as soon as possible after 15 February 2026.
Responsibilities include providing front line technical and audio-visual support to staff and pupils, under the supervision of the Lead ICT Support.
Qualifications and experience are as specified in the attached Candidate Brief. Training will be given where appropriate.
Terms and Benefits- Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
