Overview
We are seeking an inspirational and experienced colleague to lead our SEND Team.
You may be a teacher/leader with experience or an interest in SEND, or a non-teaching SEND leader. Whatever your current role we can support you to take the next step leading your own team at TQA.
ResponsibilitiesThis role presents an exciting opportunity to champion inclusion, coordinate support for vulnerable students and ensure that students with SEND are not just present in school, but are able to participate, progress, and succeed as well as their peers. This role is central to identifying needs early, coordinating effective provision, and ensuring statutory requirements are met.
With a strong focus on collaboration and communication, the SENDCo builds positive relationships with parents and carers and acts as a central point of contact for external agencies. Through careful monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement, the SENDCo helps to create an environment where every learner feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.
