Responsibilities
City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Sixth Form for Easter 2026 for our small, growing sixth form. You will be an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge. You will be working closely with the Head of Sixth Form and the Assistant Principal responsible for the Sixth Form. Responsibilities include promoting high expectations in all aspects of Sixth Form and academy life, organising the Sixth Form programmes and activities, assisting with admissions administration and supporting the promotion of the Sixth Form to internal and external students.
This position would require the successful candidate to be available for A level and GCSE results days.
You will be an experienced and outstanding teacher who has successfully delivered the A level curriculum. It would be highly advantageous if you can teach any of the following subjects to KS5:
- Business
- Economics
- Mathematics
- Geography
- English
Please state what subjects you teach in your application. You must be able to teach to KS5. You will have great behaviour management strategies and you will also have excellent organisation and communication skills to liaise with students, staff, parents and external organisations. The role is covered by part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
