Teacher of English MPS/UPS (Maternity Cover) – Required from March 2026

The Grey Coat Hospital is a Church of England school for girls aged eleven to eighteen with a mixed Sixth Form. Founded in 1698, the school is situated in central London and has a strong ethos of confident and generous Christian faith and practice that welcomes students and staff of all backgrounds and beliefs. The school is heavily oversubscribed and consistently achieves outstanding results, with 91% of students attaining 5+ GCSEs including 9‑4 in English and Mathematics in 2025.

Our Sixth Form currently has over 300 students, offering 21 subjects with the Extended Project Qualification at its core. The school was judged ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED in October 2022 and achieved ‘excellent’ in the 2020 statutory inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools.
