Overview

We are a growing Multi Academy Trust with 10 schools in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We are looking to appoint a senior leader in Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) based at Heritage High School. The successful candidate will hold a Spanish specialism and will be part of a collaborative senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish) part of the week in the school.
  • Lead trust‑wide MFL improvement, developing, implementing and evaluating policies and practices.
  • Work with subject and senior leaders across trust schools to raise standard and promote best practice.
  • Support professional learning and development for MFL faculty members.
  • Represent the trust in external MFL networks and partner schools.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experienced senior leader in MFL with a proven track record.
  • Strong teaching and curriculum development skills in Spanish.
  • Evidence of leadership in a school or wider trust context.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
