A supportive primary school in Sutton is actively seeking an outstanding BSL Teaching Assistant to join their Year 4 team, working full-time to provide one-to-one support for a child who is profoundly deaf. This is your chance to find a role that truly fits your lifestyle and career goals.
What We're Looking For- British Sign Language (BSL) qualification - Level 2 minimum, Level 3 preferred
- Previous experience supporting children with hearing impairments in an educational setting
- Natural ability to connect with children and adapt communication approaches to meet individual needs
- Strong understanding of deaf awareness and inclusive practices
- Genuine passion for making a positive impact on children's education and wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Full commitment to safeguarding and championing every child's welfare
