Graduate Teaching Assistant / LSA – Day-to-Day Supply (Hillingdon) ASD Specialist School | Flexible Across Primary & Secondary | Temp to Perm Path

We’re recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist autism provision in the Hillingdon area. This role starts as day-to-day supply
, with a clear route into full-time, permanent work if you show commitment, a strong work ethic, and a genuine ability to support pupils with ASD.

• Providing supportive, engaging 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism and additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence.
• Working across both primary and secondary classrooms, adapting your approach to suit different age groups.
• Assisting with behaviour strategies, transitions, and helping pupils develop independence.
• Supporting teachers in delivering learning activities and implementing agreed strategies.
• Building positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school team.

• A recent graduate with a degree in any subject, ideally someone with an interest in education, SEN, or child development. Someone who is patient, proactive and eager to learn and grow in a specialist setting.
• Comfortable working with pupils with autism, with a willingness to use and develop evidence-based support strategies.
• Strong communicator with good teamwork skills and a flexible, adaptable attitude.
• Enhanced DBS ready (or willing to apply for one).

• Immediate day-to-day supply work with meaningful impact.
• A real pathway into a full-time permanent position if you prove reliable, capable, and dedicated.
