Situated in the heart of Wallingford, our welcoming school is seeking a dedicated professional to take on the vital role of SENCO for four days a week, starting in September 2025.

Key Responsibilities- Lead on the strategic development of SEND provision across the school.
- Work alongside teachers to ensure inclusive, high-quality teaching in every classroom.
- Coordinate assessments, support plans, interventions, and EHCP processes.
- Build strong partnerships with families and external agencies.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on SEND progress and provision.
- Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or is currently working towards it).
- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent teaching experience in a primary setting.
- Understands the SEND Code of Practice and how it translates into effective school support.
- Can build strong relationships with pupils, families, staff, and professionals.
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
