Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Contract)
Location: Wandsworth

SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 & Classroom Support
Full-time | Term-time only
Immediate & upcoming starts available

We are working with a fantastic primary school in Wandsworth that is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a varied and rewarding position, offering a mix of 1:1 SEN support and general classroom support, either split between mornings and afternoons or vice versa, depending on pupil needs.
This role is ideal for a skilled SEN TA who enjoys both focused 1:1 work and being part of a wider classroom team.

Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN.
Support pupils’ learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
Assist with general classroom support alongside the class teacher.
Deliver small group interventions where required.
Follow EHCPs and SEN support plans.
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.

The Ideal Candidate :
Proven experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
Strong background supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, and/or communication needs.
Confident working 1:1 and within the classroom.
Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passionate about making a difference in SEN education.
