Assistant Professor of Accounting

Overview

London Business School invites applications for faculty positions in the Accounting subject area, starting in Fall 2026. We welcome applications from committed individuals with high levels of accomplishment or exceptional promise in research and teaching. As well as being inspirational educators who can deliver the high standards of teaching set at LBS, faculty members are expected to conduct original research of high quality that is publishable in top-tier academic journals.

Applicants are expected to have:

• A PhD in Accounting;
• A strong record of published research, or pipeline in the case of entry-level applicants, in leading academic journals;
• A strong teaching record, or evidence of teaching ability for junior applicants.

All full-time faculty positions are tenure track. Decisions about contract renewal and promotion are based on individual performance, principally in research and teaching.
