Role:
Teaching Assistant

Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities as a proactive Teaching Assistant.

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils in the ASD unit as a committed Teaching Assistant.

Assist in planning and implementing engaging, tailored learning activities as a skilled Teaching Assistant.

Observe, record, and provide feedback on pupil progress in your role as a Teaching Assistant.

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant supporting children with SEN, ideally in ASD settings.

Knowledge of SEN strategies and understanding of supporting children with additional needs as a Teaching Assistant.

Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills essential for success as a Teaching Assistant.

Ability to motivate, nurture, and engage children in a structured classroom environment as a Teaching Assistant.
