SEN Teaching Assistant
Location:
Colindale, NW9
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Pay: £105-£110 per day

An exceptional 2-form entry Outstanding primary school in Colindale (NW9) is looking for a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This school is known for its supportive leadership, inclusive ethos, and strong commitment to SEN provision.
What We're Looking For- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- At least 1 year of experience working in education
- Experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech & language needs desirable)
- A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently with staff, pupils and families
- Provide effective 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs
- Implement targeted strategies in collaboration with the SENCO and external specialists
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Support emotional regulation and positive routines throughout the school day
- Work closely with class teachers to ensure full access to the curriculum
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children
- Contribute to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
