Year 5 Teaching Assistant – Southwark – ASAP Start – £90–£110 Per Day – Part-Time (8:30am–12:00pm, 5 Days a Week)

* Year 5 Teaching Assistant required in Southwark

* Year 5 Teaching Assistant required to work on a one-to-one basis with a boy with ASD and ADHD

* Year 5 Teaching Assistant required for an ASAP start

* Experience supporting children with ASD/SEN is essential

The Role – Year 5 Teaching Assistant

As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a Year 5 boy on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored academic, social, and emotional support throughout the morning. You will help him access the curriculum, stay focused during lessons, and develop positive learning behaviours. The role includes implementing strategies from the pupil’s support plan, encouraging independence, supporting emotional regulation, and working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure consistent support.
