Role

Lecturer (Business) – Full‑time.

Location

London – Wembley & Kingsbury campus (travel required).

Salary

Up to £45,000 per annum.

The Role

As a Lecturer you will design, develop, and deliver engaging teaching across a range of business modules. Support students both in person and online, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and curriculum improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards.
  • Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms.
  • Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams.
  • Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs.
  • Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable.
Essential Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant business‑related field.
  • Experience teaching in higher education with strong digital teaching capability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes.
  • A flexible, student‑focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship (if not already held).
Desirable Qualifications
  • PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Research or enterprise activity involvement.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Experience leading modules or academic teams.

Working Hours & Flexibility
  • 40 hours per week (schedule may include evenings and weekends).
