Specialty Grade Doctor in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare

Overview

Applications are invited for a permanent part time post available with immediate effect for a Specialty Grade Doctor in Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare at Patrick Clements Clinic, Central Middlesex Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work with ethnically diverse communities, with a team renowned for innovation in sexual health care. The service provides an integrated sexual health service (ISH) which involves the integration of GUM, and Contraception services in Brent to an established cohort.

The Doctor will be expected to work within the multidisciplinary team to provide a clinical integrated sexual health service to Brent Residents. The post-holder will work within the Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Services in Brent. The Brent service is based in Patrick Clement Clinic at Central Middlesex Hospital. To undertake the clinical and administrative duties outlined in the job description and plan which will be agreed on appointment and reviewed regularly.

To work closely with colleagues to provide seamless services across primary, community and secondary care. The Specialty Doctor will be expected to work with department members to help provide a clinical Integrated Reproductive & Sexual Health service (ISRH) for the Brent borough. Also he/she will need to:
Share in the administration of the ISRH Departments Contribute to the teaching of medical students and other professionals Contribute to the implementation of the ISRH Department's development plans. Help to facilitate the Trust ISRH research and audit programme. It is a requirement of the post-holder's employment that they are prepared to work at any additional or different locations owned or served by the trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service.
