Overview
This post is suitable for post CCT Specialist Registrars (or equivalent) seeking to specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric otolaryngology patients. Extensive independent operating experience, including standard Paediatric ENT surgical cases, and a desire to provide excellent service to patients is essential.
Responsibilities- Manage outpatient, preoperative, operative and post-operative care for paediatric ENT patients.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑operative audit, research and administration.
- Conduct ward rounds and provide general ENT on‑call duties.
- Eligible for full registration with the General Medical Council.
- Hold or be planning to obtain FRCS (Otolaryngology) or equivalent.
- Completed or within 24 months of completing ENT training recognised by a Royal College of Surgeons.
- Possibly hold CCT prior to taking up this post.
- May be ST7, ST8 or post‑CCT specialist registrar level.
This post is held for a fixed term:
Start Date – October 2026, 1 year Fixed Term.
