Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced part‑time Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Director who will work at Cygnet Hospital Ealing and provide senior medical cover on New Dawn Ward, a 9 bed specialist Tier 4 service that treats women with a personality disorder who are ready to engage in therapy.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Responsible Clinician and oversee the care of all ward inpatients, ensuring quality medical practice in accordance with GMC standards and other relevant guidelines.
- Act as Medical Director of Cygnet Hospital Ealing, a 23 bed hospital that offers personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder across two separate wards.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team comprising qualified nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and other specialists to provide life‑changing treatment.
- Maintain a positive role model attitude towards patients, their families, visitors and other staff.
Consultant Psychiatrist with a CQC rating of “Good” and experience delivering specialist mental health services.
