As a Senior Compositor at Framestore London, you're not just blending images; you're part of a creative conversation. Work closely with Compositing Leads, compositing Supervisors, as well as VFX Supervisors to figure out the best way to bring assigned shots to life. Your responsibilities include integrating 2D, 3D, and live‑action elements to achieve high‑end visual effects film standards, as well as providing support and training to more junior artists in the team.

Additionally, you’ll be responsible for:

• Keeping the project on track by meeting schedules and show deadlines.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with Production.
• Balancing the creative and technical elements of each shot, using your expertise in Nuke.

• Excellent working knowledge of and production experience with Nuke.
• Previous experience working on high‑end Film and/or TV projects.
• Working with multiple render‑passes.
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• A pro‑active and collaborative work ethic.
• A strong eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting.
• The ability to multitask, prioritise and problem‑solve.
• An understanding of colour space principles.

• Knowledge of practical lighting for photography.
• Working knowledge of the overall VFX pipeline.
• Experience in dealing and communicating with clients.
• Programming and coding experience and knowledge.
