The Role:We're seeking a talented Mid-Weight Product Designer to join our growing team in London. In this role, you'll work alongside our Senior Product Designers, Product Design Lead, product managers, and engineers to create compelling user experiences for our customers. Your mission is to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that help people discover and shop from over 11,000 designers and 8 million products.
As a Mid-Weight Product Designer, you'll contribute to the design direction of our products, from discovery to ideation and implementation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our designs are usable, accessible, visually appealing, and aligned with our brand values.
- Collaborating with the Product Design Lead and product team to design the UX and UI of our products, features, and releases.
- Working closely with our user researcher, analysing data and user insights to inform design decisions and create user-centric solutions.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate your design ideas.
- Ensuring consistency and coherence across our product designs, adhering to our design systems and guidelines.
- Working with engineers to ensure that designs are technically feasible and efficiently implemented.
- Presenting and advocating for your design solutions to stakeholders, clearly articulating the rationale behind your decisions.
- Keeping up with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce and product design, and sharing insights with the team.
- 3+ years of product design experience, with a focus on e-commerce. It may be in fashion or it could be in another area such as gaming or travel.
- You’ve designed and delivered experiences for an iOS app.
- Familiarity with working with and iterating on design systems.
- Strong visual design skills with proficiency in typography, colour, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense, and a solid understanding of how these elements influence product function.
- Proficiency in Figma. Any other prototyping tools are a plus.
- Curious and open to applying AI technology to approach design problems - whether it is for research during discovery or vibe coding to create rough prototypes.
- A portfolio showcasing your user-centric design solutions. We’re really interested to see how you identify and solve user problems and then deliver live products.
- An interest in understanding the business and how design decisions impact commercial goals.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A user-centred design approach. You’re interested in user research methodologies and you might have contributed to research projects.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for creating engaging user experiences and an eagerness to learn and grow as a designer.
- The willingness to give and receive constructive feedback and iterate on your designs.
- You may have a design or HCI degree but this isn’t mandatory.
