A well-established specialist contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Assistant QS to work directly alongside the Managing Quantity Surveyor, gaining hands‑on exposure to high‑value projects and clear progression within the business.

The company specialises in structural construction works including groundworks, drainage, structural alterations, concrete frames and basement construction, delivering complex projects across London.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of design & build projects ranging from £3m – £15m across London. Working closely with senior management you will gain full exposure to project commercial management while developing your career within a supportive and forward‑thinking team.

• Assist with the commercial management of multiple construction projects
• Support the Managing QS with procurement and subcontractor management
• Assist with valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and financial performance
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Assist with contract administration on Design & Build contracts

• Work directly with the Managing QS, gaining strong mentorship
• Exposure to a variety of London projects
• Clear progression route to Quantity Surveyor and beyond
• Join a well‑established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex structural works across the capital
