Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Opportunity

We’re recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK’s top-tier Fit Out contractors, renowned for delivering high-end commercial and hospitality spaces across London and beyond. This is a standout opportunity to commercially lead prestigious projects and play a key part in a dynamic, market-leading team.

You’ll take full commercial responsibility for a flagship £15m hotel fit out in Central London
, while also overseeing a £5m fit out and refurbishment project with the support of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role where your ability to manage costs, mitigate risk, and drive commercial performance will be critical. You’ll report directly to the Commercial Manager and collaborate with delivery, design, and client teams throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Commercial leadership of two live projects (£15m and £5m)

• Manage and mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Prepare and negotiate subcontractor packages and procurement schedules

• Lead monthly CVRs, forecasting, and cash flow reporting

• Ensure robust contract and cost control across all phases

• Value engineering and cost-saving initiatives

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams

• Manage change control processes and final accounts

• Proven experience delivering major fit out or refurbishment projects (£10m+)

• Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial best practice

• Background in high-end commercial, office, hotel, or leisure fit outs (preferred)

• Excellent negotiation, reporting, and leadership skills

• Ability to work proactively in a high-performance team

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

• Salary between £90,000–£105,000 (depending on experience)
