We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in delivering complex construction schemes within the public sector. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering modern, sustainable buildings through a highly efficient construction approach.

Based in Central London, you will take commercial ownership of one or more projects, leading supply chain management and reporting directly to senior commercial leadership. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, health & safety, and compliance.

This role offers significant responsibility, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to projects that reshape the way buildings are delivered in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Establish, maintain and proactively manage project-wide commercial risk and opportunity registers

Implement and oversee project cost and commercial strategies

Manage supply chain performance and ensure accurate commercial reporting

Ensure clear scopes and budgets are in place for all work packages, with effective change control procedures

Develop and maintain robust contract documentation, incorporating requirements for Health & Safety, Environmental standards, Carbon reduction and Social Value

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders

Support senior commercial leadership with contract negotiation and sector agreements

Maintain accurate cost estimating, forecasting and financial control systems across all project stages

About You

Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying

Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level

Strong commercial acumen with excellent numerical and analytical skills

Confident managing supply chains and leading negotiations

Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability

Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
