Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing Refurbishment - London

To £35k + Package

Company Overview:
My client is a large privately owned main contractor based in South East London. They undertake public sector contracts, primarily in affordable housing up to £40 million. With a full order book they have contracts across London.

Position:
Due to the recent award of 3 x planned social housing refurbishment frameworks, my client has a requirement for 2 x Assistant QS' to join the team. These are office based roles reporting to a Senior QS and the successful candidate will be working predominately on internal works with 1-2 days a week on site.

• Provide support to the Quantity Surveying team on social housing refurbishment projects.
• Assist in cost planning, cost control, and measurement for internal works.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation under the guidance of the Senior QS.
• Collaborate with site teams on the allocation of resources and applications for variations and interim payments where applicable.

• Ideally qualified in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in refurbishment projects is preferred but not essential, with a focus on public sector work being advantageous.
