Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor | Commercial Fit Out | Central London | Perm or Freelance
Join a growing, well-established interiors contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit out projects across London and the South East.
This is a design-led, delivery-focused business operating in the £2m-£6m project range, with a strong and growing order book. With a current turnover of £25m-£30m, they're increasingly competing — and winning — work against larger Tier-style interiors contractors.
This is not a corporate, layered environment. It's a business where good people are trusted, developed, and given room to grow alongside the company.
The Role- Working as a Project / Intermediate QS supporting live commercial fit out projects
- Managing core commercial tasks: procurement, valuations, variations, CVRs, and cost reporting
- Working closely with delivery teams, subcontractors, and senior management
- Office-based role in Holborn, with flexibility around site visits
- Option to work 1 day per week from home once established
- Clear opportunity to grow with the business as project scale and workload increase
- Intermediate Quantity Surveyor / Project QS (not senior-heavy profiles)
- Background in commercial interiors or fit out strongly preferred
- Good understanding of trades and subcontractors — practical, delivery-aware
- Comfortable running commercial elements on live projects with support
- Ambitious, commercially sound, and keen to develop long-term within one business
They are a commercial fit out contractor delivering design-led interior projects, typically including:
- Commercial office fit out
- Refurbishment and reconfiguration works
- High-quality, detail-driven interiors
- Trade-heavy delivery with strong supply chain relationships
They've built a strong reputation over recent years and are now regularly winning work against much larger contractors — without losing their hands-on, approachable culture.
