Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Travel + Package

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join a growing specialist M&E contractor delivering high‑spec commercial and fit‑out projects across Central London. This is a hands‑on site‑based role where you'll take full ownership of mechanical packages from design coordination through to commissioning and client handover. You'll be joining a team known for its high standards and technical excellence in the London construction market.

• Manage full delivery of mechanical works (HVAC, CHW/LTHW, public health, plumbing, etc.)
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, and operatives to ensure timely, quality delivery
• Coordinate procurement, labour, materials, and progress reporting
• Oversee health & safety on site (RAMS, inductions, audits, toolbox talks)
• Ensure works are delivered to technical specs, programme milestones and budget
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and design teams to resolve site issues and technical queries
• Manage commissioning, snagging, and handover documentation

• 4+ years' experience managing mechanical packages within M&E or building services projects
• Previous experience delivering commercial, Cat A/B fit‑out, or shell & core projects in London
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems including plant rooms and HVAC
• Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with other trades
• Comfortable using drawings, issuing RFIs, and tracking progress reports

• SMSTS, CSCS (black/gold), First Aid (desirable)
• Trade or degree‑qualified in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering

• Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
