About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes and Reece are assisting a well established, privately owned main contractor with over 65 years of industry experience, delivering high-quality fit out, refurbishment, and cut&carve projects across London. With a turnover of £150 m - £160m and a reputation for excellence, the clients they have worked for include names like Landsec, Nestle, Debenhams and Merlin Entertainment. The contractor spans multiple projects with projects typically ranging from £5m - £35m in value.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:

• Commercial management fit - out and refurbishment projects across London
• Cost planning, Procurement, contract administration, and value engineering
• Managing subcontractors and supplier relationships
• Supporting junior team members and collaborating closely with project leads
• working within a knowledgeable, close knit team where you'll be supported to thrive

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:

• Experience on Cat A/B, refurbishment or cut and carve projects
• Strong understanding of two-stage tender processes
• Commercial awareness, attention to detail, and managing your own packages
• Ambition to progress - many of the team have risen through the ranks
