Worldwide Education, the UK's number one supply agency, is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated full time permanent Baby Area Nursery Practitioner to inspire a vibrant nursery setting in South East London.

Payment for the Baby Area Nursery Practitioner Role:
Our client is offering a very competitive salary starting range for wages is 13.68- 16.15 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities for the Nursery Practitioner Role:

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create and implement engaging learning activities that promote children's development across all areas.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys.
  • Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe, clean, and organised environment for all children.
  • Support children in developing social skills, independence, and confidence through play-based learning.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to uphold the nursery's values and standards of care.

Experience for the Nursery Practitioner Role:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A proactive drive to create a positive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all children.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of care
