Our Catford Green nursery are looking for Nursery Assistants and Nursery Nurses to work as bank staff covering shifts on a zero hours contract.

- Experience working in a nursery

Little Elms Day care Nurseries is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Key Responsibilities- Support the daily running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5.
- Work as part of the team to deliver high-quality care and early education.
- Assist in planning and setting up age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Supervise and engage with children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy and well‑organised nursery environment.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and health and safety policies at all times.
- Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe and record children’s progress, sharing information with the team to support individual development.
- Support children with personal care routines as needed (e.g. nappy changing, toileting, handwashing).
- Contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the nursery’s values.
