Role Summary

The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of buyers, ensuring that comprehensive information is gathered to assess each buyer's creditworthiness. The role represents Allianz Trade locally in front of buyers, assesses them according to defined targets, and supports the risk management strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Buyer Assessment:
    Conduct thorough assessments of buyers within the portfolio, ensuring all relevant financial and business information is collected and analyzed.
  • Contact Management:
    Realise and maintain numerous contacts with buyers through visits and phone calls to facilitate accurate assessments.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare detailed buyer visit reports and GRIC reports to document findings and insights.
  • Portfolio Monitoring:
    Provide analyses with direct buyer contact and continuously monitor the portfolio to identify potential risks or changes in credit status.
  • Project Involvement:
    Take responsibility in projects and initiatives supporting RBM and IRP-related matters, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organization.
  • Presentation of cases to Credit Committee.
What We Are Looking For
  • Market Knowledge:
    In-depth understanding of the local economic environment and expertise in specific regions and/or trade sectors to provide informed credit assessments.
  • Business Expertise:
    Proven success record of working in credit assessment or risk underwriting departments, with strong knowledge of Finance and Credit Management, and expertise in buyer assessment.
  • Interpersonal

    Skills:

    Ability to work collaboratively in a team, make informed grading decisions, and maintain self-motivation. Strong communication skills to engage with third parties and ensure good relationships with the Risk Underwriting team.
  • Educational Requirements:

    Proficient level of English, facilitating effective communication and documentation.

Ability to make accurate grading decisions to minimize claims and ensure a satisfactory level of proprietary information is available to make risk decisions clearer for our customers.
