This is opportunity to shape, elevate, and future‑proof some of the most important client relationships in POS advertising.

Our client is a leading, multi‑award‑winning producer with a long‑standing reputation for quality, innovation, and delivery excellence. Trusted by some of the world’s most recognisable brands and retailers, the business is growing, investing, and evolving — and now needs an Account Director who can help take client partnerships to the next level.

If you thrive on complexity, enjoy senior stakeholder engagement, and want genuine influence over how services are designed, delivered, and developed, this role will give you the platform to do exactly that.

The Opportunity

As Account Director, you’ll sit at the heart of the business–client relationship. Your mission is to move accounts beyond traditional supplier models and turn them into long‑term, strategic partnerships that deliver value on both sides.

You’ll act as the senior commercial and operational lead for key accounts — trusted by clients, respected internally, and empowered to challenge the status quo. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategy, service excellence, innovation, and leadership in a fast‑moving, high‑expectation environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Strategic Client Leadership
  • Own and lead senior‑level client relationships, engaging credibly and proactively at all times
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s strategy, operating model, challenges, and growth ambitions
  • Align service delivery, development initiatives, and commercial strategy to clear client outcomes
Value Creation & Innovation
  • Proactively introduce products, services, and innovations that deliver measurable client value
  • Translate insight into opportunities for service improvement, growth, and competitive advantage
  • Lead the development of innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, performance, and results
Service Excellence & Governance
  • Oversee contract performance, governance frameworks, and commercial outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and account management
  • Ensure clients experience a consistently high standard of service and engagement
Leadership & Culture
  • Lead, motivate, and energise multi‑disciplinary account teams
  • Build a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer outcomes
  • Encourage innovation, challenge accepted ways of working, and support teams to test and embed new ideas
What Success Looks Like

In your first 12‑18 months, you will have:

  • Strengthened senior‑level relationships with key clients
  • Transitioned accounts from supplier relationships into trusted strategic partnerships
  • Delivered tangible service improvements and commercial value
  • Built engaged, high‑performing teams who take pride in client outcomes
What We’re Looking For

You’ll be an experienced, commercially astute Account Director who brings energy, credibility, and a passion for service delivery. You’ll likely have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience within POS manufacture or supply
  • A proven track record in account leadership and service delivery within complex environments
  • Strong experience managing and influencing senior client stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen, including contract management, governance, and financial performance
  • Experience leading, developing, and inspiring teams
  • A history of transforming client relationships and delivering innovation and continuous improvement
Why Join?
  • A growing, forward‑thinking business investing heavily in technology and people
  • A senior, visible role with real influence and autonomy
  • A culture that values innovation, collaboration, and development
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • The opportunity to make a lasting impact on clients, teams, and the wider business
