  • Identify issues and challenges related to sales strategy projects, and drive timely resolution.
About the role

Are you passionate about solving business problems through data‑driven decision making? Designing customer segmentation and coverage for our customers. We are seeking a Sales Planning Lead for Annual Planning mechanism. This role will partner with Sales Planning leadership to define business requirements, develop insights on the efficacy of our tools and mechanisms, automate operational processes, and invent new ways of diving deep with data to uncover actionable business insights to help us serve our stakeholders.

you’ll do

The successful candidate must be able to roll‑up their sleeves, work autonomously, and be a quick learner. You will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to day‑to‑day problems, be highly organized, and be able to communicate results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy‑to‑understand way. You will proactively seek answers in self‑service tools, and know when to ask for guidance.

Must be passionate about your work, detail‑oriented, analytical, and demonstrate problem‑solving skills with the ability to elevate problems and roadblocks as needed. You will manage multiple assignments and requests/processes concurrently, prioritising accordingly, and deliver timely results. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving improvements to reporting tools, methods, and processes utilised by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data.

This position will work with stakeholders supporting the extended AWS Global Sales organisation, like Professional Services, and Partners. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and across multiple geographies.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyse data
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
  • Experience working within a high‑growth, technology company
  • Experience in finance, business management and sales operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
