DescriptionWe have an excellent opportunity for a results driven, proactive and commercial individual to join Petroineos as a Senior Products Operator, based in our London office. The position will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of cargoes and undertaking blending operations, in addition to other key tasks to support the businesses' trading operations. This is a 12-month FTC opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee large portfolio of cargoes across regions for both middle distillates, Jet A1, SAF and SBC
- Detailed knowledge of all Defstan 91-091 regulations, in particular traceability back to POM.
- Experience in blending operations and managing a 3rd party storage terminal operating both cargoes and barges.
- Co-ordinating operations from trade inception to completion relating to products.
- Obtain clean acceptance of vessels in a timely manner.
- Issue voyage orders to shipping/counter-parties and monitor progress of vessel, informing trading of any slippage or speed-ups in a timely manner.
- Appoint approved inspectors as required.
- Ensure cargo loading and discharging adhere to any credit or L/C requirements.
- Accurately update Trading systems in a timely fashion.
- Check all calculations relating to the trade (freight & freight diff, interim port calculations, demurrage, inspectors, cargo superintendents, gains/losses, insurance and additives).
- Minimize profit leakage.
- Make or assist in claims where necessary.
- Establishing and maintaining good and professional working relationships with internal and external counter parties.
- Maintain accurate records of each cargo including prompt and accurate filing.
- Maintain excellent HSE standards.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all operational processes.
- Co-ordination with Financial accounting team for Month & Qtr end, with regards to Accruals and Inventory reporting.
- Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. - Commercial Experience – Desired. Minimum 3 years operations experience.
- Proactive – Goes the extra mile to ensure that operations are completed and processes and robust.

- Knowledge and experience in IT including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
