Index Partnerships sits within the Custom Solutions & Alternatives product vertical, a multidisciplinary business unit focused on leveraging all product capabilities within LSEG to serve the investment community on the Buy-side and Sell-side. Comprised of experts ranging from the commercially aligned to the quantitative and technical, the team has four main areas of product focus:

• Index Partnerships – including co‑branded offerings such as FTSE EPRA Nareit & FTSE TPI.
• Exchange Listed – sophisticated index solutions, futures & options with key exchange partners.
• Engineered & Structured – such as custom overlays and defined outcomes.
• Alternatives – building our capabilities in Real Assets, Private Equity & Debt.

The role will have exposure to all four product areas listed above, with a focus on the Index Partnerships. The candidate will engage in a broad range of initiatives, including data analysis, product life‑cycle management, marketing, and will work closely with other product verticals within FTSE Russell, leveraging all capabilities across Equity, FICC and Sustainable Investment.

• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Regularly connecting with external stakeholders via client and partner meetings and industry events, facilitating meetings with organisational leadership and preparing supporting analysis and presentations.
• Innovation:
  Translating new capabilities established by Index Partnership franchises, injecting growth potential into mature product offerings.
• Strategy:
  Assessing and researching the market environment, industry trends and competitive developments to inform business strategy and propose new index partnerships.
• Product Launch Support:
  Drafting index ground rules and similar design documentation, including complex solutions.
• Data Analysis & Research:
  Organising, transforming and visualising data for quantitative analysis and research outputs; running index simulations within FTSE Russell’s research environment.
• Marketing:
  Promoting the partnership offering and creating narratives around product innovations with supporting documentation.
• Project Management:
  Coordinating with stakeholders on new product development and go‑to‑market planning, scoping requirements, managing schedules and prioritising deliverables.

• Education:
  
  Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data/Computer Science, Engineering or other quantitative disciplines.
• Analytical & Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Comfortable working with large data sets, transforming and visualising data for diverse stakeholders.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to deploy professional acumen with senior stakeholders; excellent people skills to support engagements across the business.
