My client is a leading food business with a huge customer following and brilliant reputation.

They are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team. The successful Procurement Manager will be responsible for shaping their procurement strategy, driving value, and ensuring operational resilience across all non‑food categories. This includes areas such as marketing services, facilities management, utilities, technology, professional services, packaging, and operational supplies. You will partner closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to secure best‑in‑class suppliers, negotiate optimal commercial terms, and deliver measurable cost and process efficiencies.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Procurement Manager to join a leading business that can offer great exposure and a working environment for career development.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead the procurement strategy for all indirect spend categories, ensuring alignment with business priorities and growth plans.
  • Execute sourcing events, RFPs, and contract negotiations to drive savings, service improvements, and risk reduction.
  • Develop strong supplier partnerships, conduct regular performance reviews, and ensure adherence to SLAs/KPIs.
  • Analyse spend data to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardisation, and improved value creation.
  • Support new restaurant openings with timely sourcing of critical operational and facilities services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand operational needs and deliver fit‑for‑purpose procurement solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, policies, and supplier onboarding.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and sustainability objectives.
The Ideal Procurement Manager Candidate:
  • Proven procurement experience in multi‑site retail or hospitality, focusing on indirect categories.
  • Strong category management experience in non‑food areas such as packaging, hygiene, or equipment.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially astute, analytical, and results driven.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
  • Passionate about sustainability and supplier partnerships.
