Job DescriptionSupport the team to provide a seamless service to our residents. As a Home Ownership Administrator, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes, providing the administrative support to the team to ensure that new projects run smoothly. Your work will ensure that, as the first point of contact, residents can get the support they need without delays.
Working StyleYou’ll be based in the Borough for 3 days a week, playing a key role in assisting the team serving the local community. Whether you’re working on the frontline or behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents’ lives.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support the Home Ownership team with daily operational and administrative duties, acting as the first point of contact for a range of enquiries in person, via email and phone.
- Keep the system up to date and organise and facilitate quarterly events; attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are essential.
- Create presale management packs upon request and within deadlines, ensuring accuracy. This includes raising invoices and protecting the Council from any claims due to delays.
- Occasionally attend meetings outside the normal working day or over weekends, with sufficient notice; flexibility is required.
- Highly motivated with excellent administrative, organisational and minute‑taking skills, prepared to facilitate and organise home‑ownership events and manage new projects.
- Experience in planning, project coordination or event logistics, including use of planning tools and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels using a range of methods, confident engaging with residents, councillors and partners alike, building trust and bringing people together.
- Can‑do attitude and a genuine passion for making a difference.
