Overview
Outpatient Front of House Receptionist to support the Outpatients department. The successful candidate will provide a courteous reception service to patients and clinicians, work closely with nursing and medical staff, manage the booking of designated follow up appointments, and work effectively as part of the outpatient team.
Responsibilities- Provide a courteous reception service to patients and clinicians in line with office procedures, contributing to the efficient and effective running of designated outpatient clinics.
- Work closely with nursing and medical staff to ensure that any issues in clinic are raised immediately to maintain an excellent level of service to patients.
- Work as part of the Outpatients team to provide a welcoming, professional service when manning the reception clinic(s).
- Manage the booking of designated follow-up clinics and ensure bookings are efficient, with any booking issues raised immediately with medical staff to ensure patient care is not compromised.
- Demonstrate the Trust values and the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. Show proven experience of working with the public in an administrative position and provide excellent customer care in a busy, high-pressured environment across multiple out-patient clinic locations.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
