Purpose of the role: An Executive Assistant within Origination & Advisory in the Investment Bank will support a Global Head and a Managing Director of a sector coverage team, handling all client liaison and internal coordination for senior bankers.
Responsibilities- Coordinate complex calendars and schedules for senior bankers to ensure effective time management and prioritisation of engagements.
- Facilitate travel plans for all team members, including flights, hotels, visas, meeting coordination and reimbursement of travel expenses.
- Process business expenses for personal remittance and submit them in a timely fashion.
- Set up meetings across multiple time zones, book rooms, organise passes, and coordinate catering to ensure seamless events.
- Handle extensive telephone and email correspondence on behalf of senior bankers.
- Collaborate with other assistants to cover support needs during short‑term absences.
- Establish trust and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
- Previous experience as a Personal / Executive Assistant within the finance industry, preferably in a similar department to O&A.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on complex diary management.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and confidently.
- High level of discretion to handle sensitive matters confidentially at all times.
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, multi‑task, and take initiative when finding solutions.
- A resourceful mindset when supporting senior bankers.

Contract & LocationThis is an initial 6‑month contract based in Deutsche Bank’s Moorefield London offices. Working conditions are hybrid: first part for 4 days per week in the office and 2 from home, reducing to 3 days in the office and 2 from home after orientation. The role is a PAYE engagement under Giant payroll services.
