Job Summary
We are looking for highly motivated Reception Administrators to join our dynamic and friendly team at our state‑of‑the‑art GP‑led Health Centre in Pinner, rated "Outstanding" by CQC. The centre operates 8am‑8pm, 7 days a week. Hours are mainly Monday to Friday with some weekend cover required. Competitive salary offered.

Salary & Working Pattern£12.21 per hour. Permanent, Part‑time.
Job DescriptionResponsibilities include:
- Greeting and booking patients for surgeries and clinics.
- Handling patient enquiries efficiently and courteously.
- Receiving and recording telephone messages, taking appropriate action.
- Making appointments on EMIS Web, processing requests for immediate or future appointments.
- Acting as liaison with doctors/nurses for telephone queries; pulling and filing medical records.
- Processing repeat prescriptions and filing for collection within 48 hours.
- Taking home visit requests, advising on relevant charges for private services.
- Receiving specimens, ensuring details recorded and following Health & Safety policy.
- Providing administrative support for clinical staff.
- Filing patient records and correspondence.
- Opening and distributing practice post.
- Registering new patients following the registration protocol.
- Scanning documents onto the medical system, ensuring daily clearance.
- Sending letters to patients as necessary.
- Photocopying notes and other documents (including consent forms, appointment cards, change of details).
- Updating details on EMIS Web (address, telephone, etc.).
- Covering for team members during sickness and annual leave.
- Carrying out any other duties agreed upon to ensure smooth running of the practice.
