Senior Accountant in Practice; Cantonese or Mandarin speaking

Overview

My client is looking for an Accounts Senior to join the team and are offering an excellent salary with a great opportunity for progression to assistant manager. Assignments will vary from owner managed companies turning over £100k to groups turning over £10m.

• Preparation of final accounts to manager review for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Preparation of / overseeing management accounts, VAT returns & bookkeeping.
• Compilation of corporate and personal tax returns.
• Direct contact with clients.
• Assisting with software use / set up / trouble shooting at client's premises.
• Assisting management / directors in ad hoc projects.
• Training & reviewing the work of junior staff.
• Managing your own workload.

• The role will ideally suit an accountant with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience (qualified or qualified by experience).
• Must be fluent in writing and speaking Mandarin or Cantonese.
• Strong computer skills required including Outlook, Word, Excel, Sage 50 and Quick Books. Experience of IRIS software suite preferred.
• Staff car park and use of pool car for visiting clients.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
