• Accounts Payable:
  Own the process end-to-end - from bill entry and approvals to payments, reconciliations, and credit card expense management.
• Cash Flow & Foreign Exchange:
  Monitor and manage cash flow, hedge USD exposure, book forwards, and handle payments to international suppliers.
• Accounts Receivable:
  Ensure accurate invoicing, credit notes, debt recovery, and manage invoice financing with Nat West FACFLOW.
• VAT & Compliance:
  Prepare and file VAT returns (business + pension scheme) on time, every time.
• Management Accounts:
  Deliver accurate quarterly management accounts and year-end accounts, including stock calculations, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate for Efficiency:
  Work closely with sales, merchandising, and production teams to drive better margins and accurate costing.
• Pension Scheme Management:
  Oversee SSAS pension accounts in collaboration with external administrators and trustees.
• Business Support:
  Get involved in reviewing contracts, renewing insurance, and improving processes.

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of VAT, management accounts, international trade, and foreign exchange
• Xero, Excel, and Google Sheets proficiency (preferred)
• A keen eye for detail, excellent organisation, and a solutions-focused mindset
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams
