A well-established and highly regarded Top 50 UK accountancy firm is looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team in the Heathrow / Staines area. Role Responsibilities- Leading audits from planning through to completion across a diverse portfolio of clients (typically up to 50m turnover)
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102
- Supervising, training, and reviewing the work of junior team members on-site and in the office
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
- Drafting audit findings and presenting them to managers or partners
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard and in line with relevant deadlines and regulations
- Supporting with ad hoc project work and broader business advisory tasks when required
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist with relevant experience)
- Minimum of 3 years UK audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Able to lead audits independently and manage client relationships confidently
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and audit procedures
- Competent using Case Ware, CCH, and cloud-based software such as Xero or Quick Books (or similar)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and team-focused mindset
