Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill is a rapidly changing, dynamic part of the Lockheed Martin Corporation with both domestic and international customers.
Responsibilities:
- Integrating into numerous multidisciplinary engineering teams and performing key analyses to support shared endeavors of each team.
- Specialise in high-speed aerodynamic, aerothermodynamic modelling of systems.
- Assist in a rewarding engineering career within defence.
Specific role activities include:
- General external flow aerodynamics modelling.
- Aerothermodynamics modelling.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Experience of numerical modelling / computational methods.
- Basic understanding of statistical methods.
- Degree level in aeronautical/aerospace engineering or equivalent.
- Computer skills:
Windows and Linux. - Clear and concise report writing.
- Strong team working skills.
- Self‑drive to deliver programme activities and milestones; occasional customer facing.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in a classified setting preferred.
- Willingness to pursue DV Clearance preferred.
