To provide effective supervision of the Flitwick Product training facility, ensuring planning and resource management meet the requirements of the department. Develop a training plan that reflects industry requirements, is in line with good building practice and is consistent with company recommendations. Evolve & manage the link between formal industry qualifications and products across the portfolio.

Represent the business with training bodies and educational centres. Provide a clean and safe environment to carry out training programmes Develop and plan programmes of training in line with business requirements Coach a multi-functional versatile department for all courses Development and integration of the training courses where possible, to the level of industry recognised qualifications such as NVQ Market & promote the academy & course externally via appropriate media etc Manage relations and evolve a development plan for apprentices and colleges Provide regular progress reports to your line manager Maintain sample requirements in line with business demands Ensure training carried out in line with current legislation Provide Train the Trainer Educational Training and develop a training programme for this purpose Support the delivery of tutor training in educational establishments Chair a yearly audit of all training courses with a group of designated contributors, adjust courses to reflect the group conclusions Practically trained (manual and mechanised methods i.e. pump) Planning skills Communication skills IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Creative skills to facilitate innovative training methods Ability to work in a cross functional role

Previous experience is required in a training role

Degree level Construction related qualification or experienced trainer A1 Assessor or Level 3 award in Learning and Development (or equivalent) Knowledge of construction methods relating to product categories Knowledge of product application
