Job Overview
The Lube Technician is an entry‑level position responsible for acquiring skills and techniques to perform a variety of services safely and properly on customers' vehicles. They will be trained in the company's methods for rapid job acceleration and growth along a career path, maintaining excellent service and technical/mechanical skills for customers.
Key Responsibilities- General vehicle maintenance (replace air filters, cabin filters, light bulbs, windshield wipers); check under‑hood fluid levels; test, service, and replace vehicle batteries.
- Wash windshields, adjust tire pressure, and perform visual safety checks for fluid leaks.
- Maintain industry safety guidelines and attend regular team meetings.
- Keep shop clean, perform basic maintenance and daily cleaning.
- Use computer with basic registration skills.
- Support a respectful and healthy workplace environment.
- Perform general center maintenance and cleaning (mopping, window washing, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow & ice removal, restroom cleaning).
- Complete required training and complete other duties as assigned.
Uniform shirts, jacket, and belt are provided. Follow established grooming standards and uniform guidelines.
Qualifications- Driver’s license.
- Verbal and written communication skills; basic math ability.
- Ability to safely use mechanical tools without damaging vehicles.
- Self‑accountability, teamwork, willingness, and ability to learn.
- Stand, bend, walk, talk, and hear regularly.
- Interact with customers and colleagues.
- Lift and move up to 40 pounds frequently.
- Work in a very loud noise environment.
- Continuous exposure to the elements (summer heat, winter cold, rain, wind).
- Varying work schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, some holidays).
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning (mopping, window washing, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice removal, restroom cleaning).
- Attend crew meetings as required.
- Run errands as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
