• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions to supervisors.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and a respectful presence to residents.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and resident interactions as required.
• Follow established infection control and safety procedures.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to resident calls and needs.
• Participate in staff training, meetings, and continuing education.
• Support a team-centered, compassionate culture focused on resident happiness and dignity.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship and a valid Social Security Number.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and follow care protocols.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and bending.

  None at time of hire – Food Handler’s Permit and First Aid Certification are provided by Sunflower Ridge.
