Clinicals Trials Research Nurse

Upper Valley Medical Center
Shift:
Full Time/ 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM/ (80 hours per pay)

The Research Nurse is responsible for providing expertise in the review and implementation of clinical trials for patients who are eligible and desire to participate. The Research Nurse assesses patient eligibility per the clinical trial requirements, confers with physicians, provides patient and family education, and ensures treatment implementation in concurrence with clinical trial design. Treatment implementation requires interaction with in-patient and out-patient departments, physician offices and national external facilities.

The Research Nurse performs quality data collection and submits it for the research groups. The Research Nurse is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
